"But I am Hungry"

I really hate it when I can not open a jar! So, here is a quick pattern to make the store bought grippers pretty.
I am using a Christmas-y red and white and an ”F” size hook for the first round (easier to get into holes.)
Round 1 Put needle into hole where you want to start, pull through a loop and slip stitch (I catch the extra tail to weave in while I crochet.) 1st stitch made. sc all the way around then, join into first stitch of round one connection point (with a slip stitch.)

Some stitches will be a bit lower and some higher depending on how the gripper fabric is cut. Just go with it. You can see on the demo how it looks.
Round 2 ch 1, and sc around into both loops of previous row, and join using a size G or H hook. Just keep it loose so it won’t curl.

Round 3 ch 3, skip 2 sc’s and sc into 3rd stitch. chain 3, skip 2sc’s, sc into next stitch repeat to end. join with round 2.

Bind off stitch and weave in the end! Done
